CIMEX is Charter’s automated, on-line data and document storage and reporting system. It includes a Customs Compliance Module as well.  This proprietary system features:

This state of the art system allows clients to analyze their import and export data at a detailed level not available on other systems.  The imbedded links within the searchable data allow a user to directly access the electronic document retention system, which includes all documents from pre-clearance through post-entry or export.  The seamless interface of data and documents is a powerful tool that allows for fast, efficient, real-time, on-line reviews of any transaction.  All necessary information to prove or test the compliance of any transaction is located in one secure, central data repository, accessible by the client via any web-enabled location. The Compliance Module is based on the focus areas identified by Customs for the Importer Self Assessment Program and it is designed to facilitate the entire compliance process.
