Import/Export Administration

Edmund J. Cienava is Vice President of Charter Brokerage LLC.  Mr. Cienava is an attorney and a licensed customs broker.  He specializes in the areas of customs controversies, customs compliance, trade agreements, duty drawback, the administration of petroleum and petrochemical refineries and storage facilities within foreign-trade zones and bonded warehouse terminals.

Mr. Cienava is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Florida, and before the Court of International Trade and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Cienava has represented clients before U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and Department of Energy.

Mr. Cienava received a B.S. in Accounting from Suffolk University in 1988, a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1994, and studied Computer Programming and Science at the University of North Texas, Professional Development Institute where he graduated in 1990.
